Mike Huckabee Supports Fair Tax
Governor Mike Huckabee, a fiscal conservative, supports the Fair Tax concept.The Fair Tax would replace the federal income tax system with a national retail sales tax. It would provides a "prebate" to ensure no American pays federal taxes on spending up to the poverty level, dollar-for-dollar federal revenue replacement and, through companion legislation, repeal of the 16th Amendment (in other words, the end of the IRS).
